Texture Mix

A mixture of textures in these window treatments adds interest to this kitchen. We started with woven shades, which are functional but also add color and texture,  then we added a fabric valance with decorative trim, and iron hardware. The fabric softens and the iron adds a nice contrast to the wood cabinets. Great finishing touches that make this a next level kitchen!

Valances

Valances offer another option for window treatments. Make sure you select the right scale for your windows and room, so the valances don’t look skimpy or too large for the window or room. In this room vertical lines and tassel trim also add to the visual length of the valances. This client wanted a clean simple look without panels or a lot of fabric, and these custom valances certainly added the needed finishing touch, taking her room to the next level.
